SAT scores a farce
It's sad that parents fork over up to $3600.00 (or more) and think it's perfectly a perfectly normal way of life to cheat and lie their way through life. Not small wonder the U.S. matriculation rate is so bad. My heart goes out to the students who are actually intelligent and deprived the education they deserve, to make room for a not-so-smart, but well to do offspring off some well to do parents. The sad thing of all is there isn't a thing that can be done to the students who hired these people to take the exams for them. Only the ones accepting the money can be arrested. Something needs to change. If it were up to me, I'd kick the flakes out of school and send their parents a bill to make restitution to the college or university they duped. I'm sure this "practice" has been going on for quite a long time, maybe two or three generations of deadbeats. What's even funnier, is what should be a huge scandal has been hushed so quickly it amazes me. Here's to all you students that didn't get the education you deserved, due to students probably too stupid (not to mention unethical) to pass these tests. May you somehow get the break you so deserve, although in this economy you may not have even been able to attend graduate school. Sad for the country but breaks my heart to think of all you students who should have been the ones to get the education.
